EO-46-Eucalyptus Lemon pure Essential Oil.10ml bottles. A Premium Essential Oil sourced from China

Eucalyptus Lemon essential oil. 10ml.

Eucalyptus Lemon

[Eucalyptus Citrodora]

There are about 300 varieties of Eucalyptus. Most of the essential oil originates in Australia in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales which are so called because of the extraordinary blue haze that exudes from the resin of the eucalyptus gum and envelopes the entire landscape. It is not difficult to see how in such an aromatic environment, the qualities of this ancient and noble tree would be difficult to over-look. Eucalyptus oil is grown on a beautiful, tall, evergreen tree which grows up to 90 metres high. The young tree has bluish-green oval leaves, while the mature tree develops long, narrow, yellowish leaves, creamy-white flowers and a smooth, pale grey, bark often covered in a white powder. The oil is steam distilled from the fresh or partially dried leaves and young twigs.

Source: The oil is native to Tasmania and Australia. It is now cultivated in Spain, Portugal, Brazil, California and China. Little of this oil now comes from its native countries.
